There's a new report from Bloomberg, mentioning talks of Rimac buying out Porsche from its 45% stake in the Bugatti-Rimac joint venture.

This move would give Rimac complete control of Bugatti, even allowing them to purse other investors if they choose.

This venture is valued a bit over 1.1 Billion USD.

Another interesting thing to note is the close relationship between these brands. Porsche even has a 22% stake  in Rimac.

There are no official comments from Porsche at this time, so there move is can only be speculated at this time.

That added revenue could allow Porsche to invest into other plans.

This is an interesting time in the automotive space, with another interesting note of

Hyundai having an 11% stake into Rimac.

May explain the advent of Hyundai's Performance EV platform.

With all this unfolding, what are your thoughts on this move from Rimac?

How do you think it may affect Bugatti moving forward if they succeed in the buyout?
